Visitors to our Blog

I just wanted you to know that I have invited one of my international management class groups to join our blog... if they have time.

These students are part of an accelerated MBA program and are all working full time. This is a very common practice in the US. I will let those who participate introduce themselves. And I am hoping that some of them will join us.

I hope your exams went well and you now have some time to participate in our discussion. While I do enjoy reading and "talking" to Emir, I would love to have more of you join in. Let me know if there is something in particular you would like to present some information on...and do keep thinking about the international collaboration conference and if you think it is worth the effort....while I keep looking for funding for you.

The flower is a day lily from my garden and my cabin in the woods is called daylily lodge because it has so many day lilies ... they are one of the few flowing plants that the deer and other animals don't eat! EM

  1. Elle I must inform you that exams are still not over, and that we have to be patient and develop our further communication. As I can see we have one new follower from my faculty. Also I am glad that you invited that group to our conversation, especially because they are attending MBA program and that they are working full time, so that they can share their experience and knowledge with us here.

While you are giving your best to find funding for conference, I just got an idea to spread our topics on entrepreneurship, because it’s connected to leadership and management, and because this conference we are talking about is about education and innovation. And we all know that innovations have a big part in entrepreneurship. For our presentation we can use our example of this blog, or something specific form our Universities.

Also I realize that you love nature. I like that very much. In my house there are a lot of house plants, different kinds of flowers and even home lilies.

  2. As Emir have said our exams aren't over yet, I'm completely busy, dont know what to learn first, trying to figure out some productive strategy.

I've read all of your posts, but didn't have time to comment them, especially 'couse it takes me like forever to read Emir's comments - jokin' :D

I think conference is great idea, 'couse it gives students the chance to learn something new on interesting way, to make new contacts that can be very useful in future development and work. I think there will be interested students to attend it, as matter a fact, I'm attending International Student Conference Zagreb in Croatia with few other colleagues.
Thank you for trying to make fundings for us, it's really great from you.

I'm looking forward to hear what students from MBA have to say...

  3. Hello. I am Nick and I am a 24 year-old MBA student in Ellen's multinational management class. I work in the biotechnology/biomedical field as an engineer. My current employer is offering MBA programs to employees who look to increase their knowledge of business, domestically and internationally. Pertaining to my career, I believe the biotech industry is an exciting and challenging field with many opportunities for growth and promotion. I plan to crosslink my engineering skills with my business knowledge to work as a member of mid to upper management someday. Before turning 30, I plan to switch careers to become a high school biology teacher. I hope all your exams are going well. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to respond. I am very open to questions and I check the blog repeatedly throughout the day. I hope to hear more about everyone else involved in this blog as well.

    Nick
